These Success Stories and Testimonial Terms apply when you voluntarily submit a success story, testimonial, progress information, photo, video, or similar content to Myfitsociety for possible featuring or promotional use.

These Terms supplement our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

1. VOLUNTARY PARTICIPATION

Submitting a Success Story for promotional use is optional.

Where a submission form includes an option such as “Get featured” or similar wording, your selection of that option confirms that you agree to these Terms and authorize Myfitsociety to consider your submission for promotional use.

You must be at least 18 years old to participate.

2. YOUR STORY MUST BE AUTHENTIC

Your submission must reflect your genuine experience with Myfitsociety.

You must not submit false, fabricated, materially misleading, or manipulated information about your progress, results, use of Myfitsociety, or personal experience.

Photos or videos must genuinely represent you and your progress and must not be materially altered in a way that misrepresents your results.

We may reject, remove, or decline to use a submission that we reasonably believe is inaccurate, misleading, inappropriate, or inconsistent with these Terms.

3. PERMISSION TO USE YOUR SUBMISSION

If you opt in to being featured, you grant Myfitsociety a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free right to use, reproduce, display, publish, distribute, and promote the materials you submitted for Myfitsociety marketing and promotional purposes.

This may include use on:

• Myfitsociety websites and apps;
• social media;
• digital and online advertising;
• email and other marketing communications;
• presentations and promotional materials; and
• other Myfitsociety marketing channels.

This permission may include your written story, photographs, videos, progress information, first name, username, likeness, and other information that you expressly provide for the Success Story.

We may also allow service providers, advertising platforms, agencies, and other partners acting on our behalf to process or display the materials as reasonably necessary for these purposes.

4. EDITING

We may make reasonable edits to a submission for spelling, grammar, length, formatting, translation, layout, cropping, resizing, or similar presentation purposes.

We will not intentionally edit your submission in a way that materially changes the meaning of your statement or misrepresents the results you actually experienced.

We may omit statements or claims that we believe are inaccurate, inappropriate, misleading, or unsuitable for advertising.

We may also add disclosures or explanatory information where reasonably necessary to comply with applicable advertising or consumer protection requirements.

5. RESULTS AND TESTIMONIAL CLAIMS

Individual fitness, nutrition, body composition, weight management, and wellness results vary between users.

Your Success Story describes your individual experience and does not mean that another user will achieve the same result.

Myfitsociety does not guarantee any particular result from use of the Service.

We may choose not to publish, or may limit how we publish, specific numerical, health, weight loss, body transformation, or similar claims where additional substantiation or disclosure would be required.

6. GIFTS, INCENTIVES, OR OTHER BENEFITS

Unless specifically stated otherwise, submitting a Success Story does not entitle you to payment or compensation.

From time to time, Myfitsociety may separately offer a gift, prize, discount, promotional benefit, or other incentive in connection with a campaign.

Any such benefit may be subject to separate promotional terms.

Receiving or having an opportunity to receive a benefit does not permit you to exaggerate or misrepresent your experience.

Where required by applicable law, Myfitsociety may disclose that a testimonial participant received or had an opportunity to receive a gift, incentive, or other material benefit.

7. WITHDRAWING FROM FUTURE PROMOTIONAL USE

You may contact us at [email protected] to request that we stop using your Success Story in future promotional materials.

After receiving a valid request, we will take reasonable steps to stop new promotional use of the submission.

A withdrawal does not affect use that occurred lawfully before your request. We may not be able to recall or remove materials that were already printed, distributed, reposted by third parties, or otherwise placed outside our reasonable control before the request was received.

Where applicable law gives you additional rights regarding your personal data, those rights remain unaffected.

8. YOUR RIGHTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

You confirm that:

• the submission is your own content or you have the necessary rights to provide it;
• the information you provide is truthful to the best of your knowledge;
• your submission does not infringe another person’s privacy, intellectual property, or other rights; and
• you will not submit photographs, videos, or personal information of another person unless you have the necessary permission.

You retain ownership of your original submission. The permission granted to Myfitsociety under these Terms allows us to use the submission for the purposes described above.

9. PRIVACY

Success Stories may include personal information and, depending on what you choose to submit, may reveal information about your health, fitness, body, weight, or wellness.

If you authorize Myfitsociety to feature your Success Story, you understand that the selected information may become publicly available.

Information submitted and used under these Terms will otherwise be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

10. NO OBLIGATION TO PUBLISH

Submitting a Success Story does not guarantee that it will be selected, published, promoted, or featured by Myfitsociety.

We may decide whether, where, when, and for how long to use an authorized Success Story, subject to these Terms and applicable law.
